Our Pilot Project
Wedding Bureau has designed a pilot project, linked to the concept of destination weddings in Abruzzo, representing the ideal target for this kind of tourism, being characterised by many small villages scattered throughout the four provinces, where time has stood still.
The local and cultural features of the places, together with the ancestral desire to return to the origins, make Abruzzo the perfect and one-of-a-kind wedding destination, for national and international couples and their guests.
Thanks to a keen analysis, it is possible to calibrate and develop this project to other areas.

This project addresses to the economic operators involved in several different business fields, residing in the village or nearby areas, that can be actively involved in the tourism offer with products and services designed for the wedding market.

Operating in the wedding destination sector represents a great opportunity, considering the relevant business possibilities to interact with international markets and the number of small and medium-sized companies in the villages.

This phase of the project is based on the active participation of the citizens, especially the elderly, always preserving the traditions and rituals, as the “serenade for the bride” or the “delivery of the dowry”.

This part of the project represents a great possibility to intercept new targets of visitors and tourists, creating an attractive offer designed and tailored for the wedding operators.

This phase of the project is designed and developed together with all professionals, operators and touristic companies involved, especially in the start up stage, thanks to experts operating in the wedding destination business.
Our technical assistance will take care of developing and coordinating all the activities, in order to implement the project.
We will define the best project lines and relationships with all partners with focused meetings at customers’ headquarters.
We will identify potential strategic partners for co-funding, aiming to increase the promotional and structural value of the project.
The project will be promoted by targeting all business operators at a local, national, European and non-European level.
Commercial relations will be developed aiming to cooperate with buyers, tour operators, wedding press and wedding planners.
Direct promotion will be developed through the website, social media with targeted sponsorships, and memberships.
Promoting actions will take place by organizing an event focused on the village and its carachteristics, to witness first hand the details of the project.
The project includes the creation of a dedicated brand and the development of a coordinated image for the Wedding in the Village format in both Italian and English.
